Swimming & Fishing: In Skopelos, visitors will find some of the most beautiful beaches of the Aegean Sea. In the Sporades islands, 70 species of fish of those encountered in the Mediterranean Sea have been recorded.
Excursions: Skopelos is a small heaven. With unspoiled pine forests, great diversity of flora and fauna, countless coves in the 67 km of its shoreline, it offers visitors the delight of contact with nature. The best way to explore it is on foot. Also, visitors can rent a bike or a small boat to visit the beaches that are not accessible from the land, and of course, by car, visitors can reach those parts of the island that the excellent road axis allows.
Gastronomy: The cuisine of Skopelos is famous for its quality and diversity. It uses the variety of local products (oil, honey, wine, fruit, vegetable, fish) in the best way, and constitutes a special version of the Mediterranean cuisine. At the farm "Ditropo”, visitors can taste original recipes of Skopelos, and try local products among which the wonderful spoon sweets or those made with almonds.
Cultural trails: The City of Skopelos itself with the picturesque houses, the little churches and the Castle are an architectural monument, while it is also worth to visit the Byzantine monuments throughout the island (churches and monasteries), the History Museum of the island and the Folk Museum. It is also important to see aspects of folk tradition that stays alive up to this day on the island serving various forms of art: music, pottery, metallurgy, bodywork, painting, marine architecture.
